Nice lighthouse with great views of the FDR bridge and across the water to Lubec, Maine. There was a small building next to the lighthouse with a friendly ranger who spent several minutes talking with us about the sea life of the area, so don’t miss those exhibits. We saw seals here 20 years ago, but that was in August and we didn’t see any this trip; the ranger said we were a few weeks too early for the seals. If you are taking a day trip to Campobello Island, don’t miss a 15-minute stop at this lighthouse.

I love lighthouses and have dragged my husband along winding roads some of which are unpaved "just" to see a lighthouse. Last year when we visited Acadia and Schoodic, we made our way to Lubec to see the West Quoddy lighthouse. When in Lubec, we saw the Mulholland Lighthouse from a distance but couldn't cross into Canada due to the pandemic. This year I was determined to go. Getting to this lighthouse was easy--just cross the Roosevelt International Bridge and you are there! The lighthouse was constructed in 1884 to guide vessels through the Lubec Narrows, the passage between Campobello Island and Maine. There is a picnic area and steps leading down to the water. This is the only lighthouse shared by both Canada and the US and is located within Roosevelt International Park. It has great views of the FDR Bridge and Lubec across the narrows. Go and enjoy!

We have visited here before and seen many seals froliking in the tidal waters. None on this trip (at low tide) but it's a great spot to visit and walk around the base of the lighthouse.

Very pretty lighthouse and an amazing view of Lubec from the lighthouse. This is a fun island to visit and we saw whales on the north end of this island near the East Quoddy Lighthouse. Across the road from this lighthouse is a great visitor center with very helpful information about what the island offers.

It's nice to look across the Channel from Lubec and see this neat lighthouse on Campobello Island. Then it 's also rewarding to drive across the Roosevelt International Bridge and actually visit the lighthouse and museum. Very interesting and informative displays in the little building next to the Mulholland Point Lighthouse ... don't miss this.

We stopped to admire this beautiful old lighthouse and the views on our way to Roosevelt Campobello International Park. The views from the hill were so beautiful as you looked across at the FDR bridge and into the town of Lubec, Maine.

Not much here to see or do, really. You get just as good a view of the lighthouse from downtown Lubec (Water Street). I saw a bunch of seals just off the rocky shore, though.

This lighthouse has great informational signs about the local industries and history. Also great views of the FDR bridge and Lubec across the bay. We did not see any seals but it was low tide, so maybe they were away

We saw this lighthouse in clear daylight and wrapped in fog. We even saw where it should be but couldn't see it because it was so foggy. As you approach, watch the road signs carefully so you take the turn (Narrows Road, I think, but check the local map.) to the lighthouse. If you miss it, you'll find yourself either making a U-turn at Canadian customs or back across the bridge to Maine. When we were there, a lighthouse volunteer was there to greet us. She explained where we could walk and invited us to look at the small marine museum on the property. You can't go in the lighthouse. We walked around the lighthouse, looking at seals bobbing in the current as well as seabirds. Flowers were blooming on all sides of the path. We spent more time looking at animals, because once you've walked around the lighthouse, there isn't much else to do with it. The marine museum is housed in a small shed and tells about the marine life you can see in the bay. We had read about the museum and thought it was actually a larger place. The site is free and worth a stop because of the views.
