This park is truly beautiful and surrounds a large deep cove that is fed by highland streams and flows out to the Miramichi river. There are several miles of hiking and biking trails of different difficulty levels. The trails are well maintained and well used by locals. There is also a nice playground for children with the bathroom nice and... More

We stopped in here after a day of traveling. We found a series of walking trails. There are a number of color coded loops. We opted to take the longest one. The trails were easily marked, offered a variety of terrain and views. This was the exercise we needed after being in the car of most of two days.

We spent a few hours touring the cove and absolutely loved it. Great trails which were very marked. The weather was gorgeous. Great for the outdoor enthusiast. We stayed on the main trail system but did see they have "advanced" trails for the more experienced hiker.

This park offers many different hiking trails from easy to difficult. We chose the Green Trail (easy - about 1 hour) which basically circles the lake located in the park, It offers easy walking and absolutely wonderful views of the lake. A long boardwalk is found at the end of the lake.Very few folks were there that day. I think... More

Great tour with some very good acting. May be somewhat frightening for children as the cove is very dark and people jump out of dark areas. Great value as the cost was only $10 per person and you get a tiny souvenir flashlight. Tons of fun!

This is a well kept secret in Miramichi. Wonderful and pretty easy hike through this beautiful park. The boardwalk across the water at the end is new and very nice to gaze at the water and wildlife. Definitely check this place out if you love hiking and nature. Very nice!

This is very good natural reservation in Mirimichi. There are a lake and a stream in center and few trails arround. The landscape is very nice, some trails are loup and slip from the hill to the waterside. There are few animals as duck, fish ( good site to fishing). The visitor can easy to follow the trails with many... More

I've been to the Cove to walk the trails, and you can also snowshoe in the winter. I also went on a haunted hike that told the story of the famous Headless Nun! It's really nice to have a spot like this close by.
