TRINKETS WITH A QUALITY EDGE
Sep 2019
I was not in a buying mood when I visited but was nevertheless appreciative of the quality of items on sale. It is not a particularly large floor space. Some items like T-shirts are back in the staff only area. Suffice to say many items had a more Bonavista and/or maritime look. The building itself was part of the original working Ryan Premises.

Great little shop
Jul 2019
We stopped at several heritage shops throughout out visit to Newfound land and this one was by far the best and most inviting. It felt like a heritage shop rather than a craft or tourist shop.

Nice Little Shop
Jul 2017 • Couples
The Heritage Shop is run by a non-profit so the prices are good and we found the selection of local items was very good.

Friendly & knowledgable
Jul 2016 • Couples
Stopped in after touring the properties and while we were looking at pictures, the individual behind the counter told us the story of the dog in the picture we were looking at! It was that little piece of living where you work and being proud of it. The prices were a bit expensive but many were also one of a kind...so it works itself out. A great place to browse.

Another great heritage shop
Jul 2015 • Family
One of the heritage shops associated with Parks Canada in Newfoundland. Each one carries not only province wide items, but also items unique that either that site or area. Each oe carries quality iems, and sales help with interpretive programs. Stop at each one in your travels.
