Loved this trail! It's a 5.3 km loop return and it was very well marked; there was never any doubt which way you should go. We oped for the coastal route, but there was also an inland option. There were so many beautiful vistas. Note:...More

Spent a fall morning hiking the trail for the first time, loved it! Moderately challenging in some areas, but overall definitely accessible for basically any ages and fitness levels.

We expected a more difficult trail, but it was easy to moderate with a few short climbs. The trail is well maintained and the views are spectacular.

This is a 5.3km loop trail that took us about 2.5 hours due to stopping at the scenic areas. Much of the trail is very well maintained, we saw some guys working on it when we were there, with boardwalks, bridges and steps. Also there...More

This a top 10 (or is it 25?) hike in Canada. I'm not sure I would rate it that high but it was a lovely hike. There are some wonderful views on the Coastal Trail on the way up but trees got in the way...More

Make sure it is a dry day - and has been the past day or two - otherwise it would be a bit muddy in places -- - 5.3 km hike -- first 1500 meters nothing special - then you start climbing up and around...More

This is a moderate hike, easily done in two hours. There are quite a few stairs so hikers must be able to handle short bursts of exertion. The trail skirts the cliffs but unless you leave the trail ( not advised) it is not dangerous....More

The Skerwink Trail easily lives up to its reputation as an outstanding hiking Trail. More importantly, its description as moderate to difficult in places is accurate. Walking the Trail is stimulating and enjoyable and an excellent activity for the entire family provided children are at...More

Three hours is lots of time. We are a couple of oldies and we're back in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Took lots of time for views and watching whales. Lots of steps on the trail, not rock scrambling so no previous hiking... More

Hi, I am sorry to say but no you cannot drive to sections of this trail. This trail ventures off the roadways and follows the coastline around a headland.
