This was our highlight on this day. We took the directions from our camp and we had no problems finding it. We had ample parking. First, we had to walk in the forest. The water was following us and often there were some small waterfalls....More

We went here to check out the waterfall, it was beautiful. Although we managed to get lost by not reading the clearly labeled maps, we still made it to the falls. The hike itself was not too long and it was not a hard hike....More

While visiting Cape Breton for Celtic Colours, six in our party took in this hike, as recommended by a local. Short drive from our accommodations in Baddeck, and completed in about one and three quarter hours - with LOTS of stops for pictures. Not a...More

This was a very pretty hike that we did while staying in Baddeck. It is not a long drive frim town and the hike took a little over an hour with stopping for pictures.

Based on reviews on TA we decided to walk into Uisage Ban Falls. We are glad we found this off the beaten path place. It is a short hike in (30 minutes) to the falls. The falls were beautiful with a good water flow. The...More

This is a nice hike that is not too difficult. Unfortunately about half of the trails are off limits due to a bridge washout however the trail that is open leads to a nice waterfall. Well worth your time. Proper footwear required.

I visited these falls in both summer and winter and was pleased on both occasions, although I think my winter snowshoe visit was a bit more adventurous. In winter , surrounded by fresh snow, it proved to be quite a marvellous trek. In summer, the...More

The trail was a bit muddy on the day that we went. The main challenge of this hike was dodging rocks, tree roots and puddles. Minimal elevation but still not recommended for people with mobility issues. It looks like the bridge has been out for...More

The falls are beautiful and worth the trip! The hike itself takes about an hour in each direction. The path is maintained in some areas, but the end of the path is a bit rocky and difficult to navigate, so make sure to wear good...More

I have only had the pleasure of this hike once, in early October. But i would expect it would still be lovely. As mentioned, leaves might make the footing slippery in places, as would any light snow or ice that might be... More

It is an easy walk and best done leisurely. I think that 1.5 hrs. is plenty of time, and allows for stops and taking time to enjoy the falls and other sites along the way.
