This is a beautiful lake and listed as a UNESCO site; the lovely lake and surroundings is quite an interesting and educational visit;

Things change. The building now houses a gift shop but the area offers up some wonderfully scenic views of the lakes. Take a stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the fishing boats bobbing on the lake..

A wonderful exhibit for all ages. Locally supported in an effort to attract tourism, they have done a good job and this should be a stop on your travels.

No longer there - just another over-priced gift store; as if Baddeck needed another gift store. Not even any reference to the history of the Old Post Office.

Great stop to learn about the lakes, why there's called Bras d'Or and how they were formed. The Centre offers greats book about the area, the Cabot Trail and Nova Scotia as well.
