I have to admit, I'm not "cultured" enough to typically enjoy concerts showcasing local music but upon the suggestion of our B&B's owner, we decided to get tickets for the Keltic Drive's last show at the Playhouse for the season. The tickets were so reasonably...More

We went to hear great music two nights in a row with different shows each night. The intimate venue and excellent sound made for a great evening. Highly recommended. Check out the shows when in Louisbourg.

The Keltic band is wrapping up their third summer season. They are truly superb musicians with a broad repertory and immense musical skills. They perform nightly for an audience of 50-75. It's a shame more people aren't exposed to their music.

This is a unique octoganal venue. It is very intimate and folksy. Very charming. The only issue is that no all seats are entirely in front of the stage. Some are a bit behind it. Keltic Drive played and they are great.

I had an amazing time visiting with friends in Louisbourg. What a hidden gem of a village. Lots of amazing historical things to see within walking distance- the fortress, the lighthouse, the rail museum and of course the playhouse. The playhouse is quaint and intimate...More
