Although I'm a Scot I didn't realise there was a whisky distillery in Nova Scotia. What a great experience we had with the visit and meal. The "wee cratur" was as nice if not better than I've tasted anywhere.

We drove from NYC to Nova Scotia and because of all the construction, we arrived much later than expected and very late for our dinner reservation. Everyone at Glenora was very accommodating and extended our dinner reservation, giving us enough time to settle into our...More

Very interesting to tour a distillery. I learned so much about the business. I recommend the tour (there is a cost) but you get a taste at the end. Very beautiful setting. Should have stayed here!

We stopped by the Distillery for the tour on our way for dinner in Mabou. It is a very short tour and the prices for the whisky are very high. The tour is interesting- they were not distilling when we were there. The grounds are...More

We didn't have time to do the tour, so we went to the bar to do a tasting. The bar tender was a nice young woman who could double for Jennifer Lawrence. They offer a variety of well-priced tasting "flights". I did a selection of...More

Driving the Ceiliah Trail and decided to stop at the Glenora Distillery. Knew nothing about single malt whisky (spelled without the 'e'). Not whisky drinkers but the tour was informative, the dining room and food were great, the grounds were very beautiful.

The tours of the distillery are every hour from 9-5/ 7 days a week, and they are $7 per person ($5 for large groups and Inn guests). They last roughly 1/2 hour and include a sample of our single malt. Thanks for asking... More
