This bridge is a suspension bridge and it is the link between Campbellford and Ferris Park. While the bridge seems solid, it sways a little when you are there. The floor is not solid so you can see the gorge from it and it can be a bit scary, but completely safe. Take some time to visit when you come... More

Crossing the Ranney Gorge on this suspension bridge is an unbelievable experience! And the walk through Ferris Provincial Park on the other side is beautiful.

This is definitely worth the trip and the scenery around from the bridge is breathtaking definitely worth checking off, Farley easy to find, turn at the GM dealerships over the 1st single lane bridge beer to the right and it is hard to miss

We've visited the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge twice and each time it held our interest. Those with a fear of heights may find the open work of the bridge scary, but holding on as one inches across to the other side is well worth the risk!

Suspension bridge is not shaky. There is a covered picnic place with tap water supply. Easy walk trail.

Worth checking out, especially with the autumn leaves! The gorge is spectacular at any time of year. Continue walking and explore beautiful Ferris Park!

Amazing spot & beautiful views. As good as our recent river cruise. But this one is free!! Great hiking trail that lead you down to the river bed. There's a sign posted "Do not enter river bed. Dam may open at anytime." But there were a lot of people at the river bed. Excellent Engineering design. It would be nice... More

Great locale for bridge, especially a suspension bridge. My first experience with a suspension bridge was in Alberta, when the wind blew the bridge swung back and forth. This one is a heavy duty one compared bridges of my youth. The bride even crossed it twice as she has a problem with the mesh decking. Got some great shots. Would... More

It's way more visually stunning than you would expect from the rather flat surroundings. Approaching you see a deep but wide gorge with a longish steel bridge connecting the two sides . It's a beautiful piece of architecture. The views as you cross are stunning and add a little bit of excitement . Only caution is for those who don't... More
