I've always enjoyed my visits to the Warplane Heritage Museum. The admission is affordable, the exhibitions are well-planned, and the artifacts are amazing. I'm consistently struck by how friendly the guides are, and how willing they are to take time out to answer questions. The air show is always amazing. The Lancaster bomber is truly awe inspiring. Really, this is... More

This is a great museum with a staff of retired service members. If you get an opportunity - plan to attend their November 11th Remembrance day ceremony. Be early as it is very well attended and admittance to the museum and parking are free that day. They also have 1 of only two flying Lancaster bombers in the world. They... More

If you are into aviation and history this is the place to visit. Planes that actually fly! Well appointed and very informative.

I expected another nice plane museum but what I got was different: This was a place where they store, repair and restore the Warplanes to detail. It was brilliant, to be able to walk direct around the planes without barriers. you could touch every plane (it was not allowed but possible and I hope the visitors will respect it). Through... This is a great place to visit at any time. The is a good gift shop as well, and if you time it right you have a chance to see some legendary aircraft flying. For a fee you can also go for a ride with prior bookings and a lottery win!

museum located at the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport in Hamilton, Ontario. The museum has military jets, propeller-driven aircraft on display and a store on site. The volunteers are extremely helpful with extensive (and sometimes first hand) knowledge about the planes).

I went to the Museum during a recent work retreat. We had a chance to tour the museum along with a guide. The guide told great stories at each plane we saw, it was an awesome experience. I only wish we had more time. I would love to go back with my family and spend a day looking at everything... More

We've been to the museum several times and I've enjoyed it every time. There are always enthusiasts there working on the planes and they love sharing stories with visitors. There's a really nice store located in the museum with something for everyone that will suit any budget. A great time to visit is when they are hosting the woodworking show.
