The drive to Rossignol Estate Winery is lovely, as is the winery itself once you arrive. The staff were incredibly welcoming and we were able to walk through the facility to see all the vats of wine aging. The friendly woman staffing the front desk allowed us to sample several wines and we ended up settling on the cranberry wine... More

The estate may be small, but the wines are quite good and there are tours. Information about the available wines are written up in English, Japanese & Chinese. They make a lot of fruit wines, white and red wines. The shop not only sells wines, but some glass wear as well as paintings and knitted items. There is a bathroom... More

We were on a bus tour and did a wine tasting at the winery. The owner showed us their facility and we sampled their wine. The wine was mainly sweet wine but their red was delicious. On the outside they carved red rocks to add to the grounds.

About 10 minutes from the ferry to Nova Scotia at Wood Island, so if you arrive a bit early for you ferry, a nice place to taste some wine and visit with the hostess. The wife of the wine maker displays her art, and it is well done (a bonus while you are doing a tasting).

Visited the Rossignol Estate Winery while on vacation on Prince Edward Island. Well maintained winery near the sea. Somewhat unique approach to their products as they blended some well known grapes with some native to the island. I purchased a dry white wine that was very good and a dry red blend that I found interesting. They also had several... More

The second you drive in you see the ocean and the vineyard and it's beautiful. The store is very beautiful as well. My only complaint was that the lady explaining the wines had zero enthusiasm and never offered for us to taste we had to ask her. The wines are mainly fruit wines only a couple whites and reds so... On our way to Panmure Island we came across the Rossignol Estate Winery The grounds were inviting and looked over the ocean so we stopped in to taste the wines. The lady serving the wines was engaging, friendly and professional. The liqueurs were so good I bought a bottle of the cassis. I would have bought more the mead was... More

This place requests a donation of $1/tasting to go towards charity. I was a little put off by it at first, but it's not strictly enforced. Their wines are not available for purchase at the airport. You either buy it there and haul it back yourself or you can pay them to ship it to you. They will ship to... More

This was a busy little place. They have white and red wines, fruit wines and sweet dessert wines. Sooo yummy! We tried the medal winning fruit wines and loved them. The staff is very friendly. They don't rush you and let you try just about anything that you want. I just wish I could purchase these wines at home. So... More

I was raining one of the days we were in Charlottetown and we decide to make the trip to Rossignol's, we did not regret it! Everything is grown locally and the variety of wines is astonishing, everything from a dry white to blueberry wines. Great people, great wines and a beautiful view of the sea.
