Three fantasy-like buildings made up of approximately 30 000 recycled glass bottles of various colors and sizes, surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. A haven for nature lovers, recyclers and photographers. The late Edouard Arsenault built the structures in the early 80's, spending the last four years of his life in this amazing project - family-run for over twenty-five years. Featured in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" and "1000 Places to see before you die".

Nice stop and interesting to think about the person who constructed the 4 buildings using bottles (many from the dump) and concrete. The grounds are well landscaped...the whole property is the result of a lot of work. I'm not sure, however, that this stop would...More

We were glad we made the decision to stop here. The houses are beautiful and interesting to look at. The kids were amazed with the different older bottles they hadn't seen before and excited when they noticed ones they did recognize. We would visit again

We did not plan this stop it was on route as we drove through west coast of PEI. Thought the admission price was a little high for what you got, a self guided tour of 3 little areas built from bottles and a gorgeous garden....More

I planned a route for the West side of the island. And this was one of our stops. First of all, my friends were hesidant. But as soon as they started exploring they realise how amazing it was.

Having been here several years ago, I was eager to take friends visiting from New Zealand. We were delighted all over again - and they loved it. It's a simple, peaceful place, and yet the work of creating these lovely little houses is amazing. Wonderful...More
