As a business owner and resident for the past five years these have been some of the best years of my life.. It truly is like going back 50 years in time the drive in theatre, Danceland, BurgerBoy...the village people are filled with charm and character of years gone by. The whole place gives you a feeling of peace and... More

what a special place. to be able to have something like this in canada is priceless. although the lake is seeing flooding as in the 20's the town is doing their best, lots of sand has been trucked in and a berm created. we floated in the lake for three hours and plastered healing clay onto our bodies. across the... We visited Manitou Beach July 2016 as a detour from Saskatoon to Regina to experience the salt water phenomenon. We were told not to have high expectations. As some have said, they are recovering from flooding a few years ago. However, the experience was unique and worth checking out. The beach was small and not overly soft. Since it was... More

It was our first visit at Manitou Lake. Manitou Beach was rated in 20 best beaches in Canada. I guess not anymore. It doesn't look that great after flood that happened three years ago. Still to much water. Some roads closed down. Some hotel flooded too. Beach is dirty. It's look like no one care about it. Park nearby is... More

Nice hotel, friendly people and good food. It is quiet, peaceful and so relaxing. People there are easy going and the schedule of the pool is quite convenient. We really appreciated.

My expectations during my first visit were really quite low, hadn’t really got my head around what we were going to experience. It’s been 5 years since the first visit. We try and get out there two or three times a year now. As far as the resort/hotel, very down to earth. Nothing special, in terms of the rooms at... More

What an amazing discovery. Kind of a rural, countryside setting with a little resort area beside the 3rd saltiest body of water on the planet! The only horse tail dance floor in the universe just don the road. The resort itself is awesome, hot pools with natural mineral water - healing plus! The little town itself is quaint. There are... There is no place like it! Manitou lake is an inland salt water lake with the density of the Dead Sea. You can not sunk in this water, everyone floats!! Great spa at Manitou, as well as the world famous Danceland with weekly dances, excellent golf course and campground, lots of accommodation, good hiking trails, dining galore, one of the... More
