The island was and the water was beautiful.. Lots of fish to swim around with.. Just stay away from the straw market, especially if you have kids or long hair.. They will harass you,"Let me braid your girls hair." Most of the other merchants were less pushy.. especially compared to Nassau.. I was also surprised that there were so many... More

Taking some of the Royal Caribbean Cruises, this is one of their stops. They anchor off-shore and you take tenders back and forth from the island. Beautiful beach, they offer several excursions available for an additional fee such as parasailing etc, but we opted for the glass bottom boat. You can just visit the island and enjoy the beach and... More

Owned by Royal Caribbean, this "private island" is worth the visit. We have passed on the opportunity before, but were told by others to check it out. Glad we did! Very clean, plenty of room, lots of places to relax on the beach or get into the beautiful water. Colorful buildings, a number of bars and snack places, lots of... More

New building and facilities are continuing to be added. We find the island improving with each visit. This trip we enjoy comfortable beach chairs under swaying palms on a sunny day, feet from water's edge. Standard BBQ fare served at noon.

We visited Coco Cay via Royal Caribbean cruises. It's such a cute island and we thoroughly enjoyed our day there. There's lots of loungers, hammocks, and sand to go around. They have many activities you can pay to do - kayaking, paddle boarding, and jet skiing. You can also rent float boards and beach umbrellas if you want. You need... More

We arrived here onboard the Celebrity Reflection with the intention of snorkelling to our hearts content and relaxing on a beach. The only thing I knew about the island beforehand is that it is owned by Royal Caribbean. We headed off the ship on one of the earlier tenders as I had read reviews about grabbing the best spots. However... More

We visited this private island on our most recent Royal Caribbean cruise. It is very clean and exceptionally nice people that staff the area. I would echo other critic's opinions that the "front" beaches provide the best swimming conditions but are much m ore crowded than the "back" beaches. The sand is a very fine, nice powder and the water... More

This place is pretty cool. Very small island with a bunch of beaches. While the front beaches are very crowded, they offer great swimming conditions. The beaches on the far side of the island are much quieter but the swimming conditions aren't great - lost of seaweed. We ended up buying the beach longer for two which was nice and... More

My husband and I had fun on this island but if you are looking for a nice beach and swim then this is not the place. we walked around most of the island and tried several beach areas. we could not walk barefoot anywhere. the sand had lots of rocks and plants in it and the water was even worse....
