The flats were an hour boat ride from the launch and few bonefish were seen. Jeff was a good guide and had a boat with a very shallow draft to get us on the flats. The next guide had a boat that drew 12" of water and could not access the prime areas. We waded for hours and saw only... More

I liked everything. Great hospitality by the Fergusons and Ashley,the waitress at their restaurant. Enjoyed the blamy ocean breeze during the entire trip. Friendliness of all the locals in both Crooked Island and Acklins. The delicious meals prepared by Bernard. Peace and tranquility, leaving doors unlocked, no traffic jam, there are only a hand full of cars on the island.... More

My husband & I stayed at Chester's Highway Inn and Bone Fish Lodge. We rented bikes and took the 'Ferry', a very small & fast speed boat, over to Crooked Island. I visited friends on the Out Island of the Bahamas for 5 years in a row. I have NEVER visited anywhere as beautiful since. I haven't been in about 5 years and am missing it horribly. We have been to Crooked Island four times since 2009 during the months of Jan Feb and March. We just returned this year on Feb 27, 2013 to cold weather and snow flurries in North GA.
