The Visitors House is a very nice building next to the central plaza with the statue of Miguel Hidalgo. The architecture is old but in good condition. The town is very clean as are most of the interior towns and cities we have visited.

Not much to see beside the beautiful courtyard. The sub delegate for the Spanish government originally lived here in 1976. The facade consist of six arches over which stone carved balconies were erected. In 1940, the house was acquired by the state government and converted into a residence for visiting dignitaries. Every five years the current Mexican President stays here... More

You can only see some of the courtyard but it is a beautiful and tranquil space. The house is reserved for political figures that are visiting not for touris :(
