The water was rough the day we were there so we did not go in the water. We did stop for a snack at La Beuna Restaurant which was loads of fun -- dipping pool for the kids, treehouse for the adults, bean bag chairs...More

Just came back from a week long family event. 120 of us took over Half Moon Bay for the week The housekeeping staff was exceptional. They were able to keep our rooms clean and towels refreshed everyday. Wonderful views ... turtle hatching... etc.

I wish we had beaches like this where I lived because then I would know where I would retire. This was gorgeous and I want to be there now. Sigh.

Half Moon Bay is like an oasis compared to the craziness Akumal Bay and beach have become and the many beach clubs up and down the coast. With that said, it is not for everyone. No night life, clubs- which is a plus for us....More

A paradise next to the crowded Akumal Bay. The Half Moon Bay is a quiet bay that offers wonderful white sand a one of the clearest and breathing waters I've ever seen. If you are tired of crowded beaches and search for a relaxing and...More

All beaches in Mexico are free, including Half Moon Bay. Although there is an area at the far end of HMB that is a feeding ground for turtles, I only saw one, and I snorkeled there for over a week. You will definitely see... More
