We visited the Cenotes by bike from Valladolid. Taking a bike and ride it through the Yucatan country side? That alone is an amazing experience in itself. If the destination is this magical place? Gosh, it becomes one of the most memorable days of your...More

We stayed in Valladolid for 2 nights and went to Xkeken and Samula cenotes one day. We enjoyed our trip however if you have to choose, visit the cenote Zaci inside Valladolid, much nicer and fun than these. The price is 120 pesos per person...More

On the way back to Holbox, from Chichen Itza we stopped here for a swim. So cool, so weird. A hole, or a cave with a hole in the roof with sunlight coming trough.

I had the greatest time of my life, really enjoyed the cenote although I found out it had changed a bit (referring to the fact that about 5 years ago it had like roots hanging) but other than that, I loved it. The water was...More

This cenote and the X'keken cenote are collectively called the dzitnup cenotes and they are a beautiful side trip while visiting either Chichen Itza or Ek' Balam. The cost for one cenote is 80 pesos and 160 for two. Pay for both of them. They...More

This was our first time to a subterranean cenote; we've been to some open ones. The water was naturally lit by an opening at the ground surface, creating a beautiful blue color. The water is cold, about 70 degrees, but bearable. It's very deep water,...More

There are 2 cenotes that you can access from one parking lot Samula and Xkeken (they are collectively known as Dzitnup on road signs. I liked that both were underground. Samula had a smaller entrance area for people getting in and out- which was a...More

Grazie.
