I'm not normally a shopper while traveling. This was close to my hotel, so I stopped in. Such a great little shop! Nice selection of items- something for everyone. And the prices were great as well. I walked out with a purchase, even though my rule of thumb is to always travel light. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable... More

This is a lovely little shop featuring a wide variety of Mexican art, artesania and locally-made health products. The owner, Danielle, is Quebecoise and has lived in Mexico almost 25 years, and has collected items from all over the country. Everything is tasteful and shows a discerning eye. It is also reasonably priced, a welcome change from the exorbitant prices... More

Danielle, the proprietor, is always on site and ready to visit. It's worth coming here just to meet her friendly smile. Her selection of local art and souvenirs far surpasses anything else in town and the prices are fair as well as a wide range. You won't leave in debt. Danielle also knows the town intimately, speaks fluent English, French,... More

This shop is the best one in Valladolid! The owner is so friendly and helpful that you won't want to leave. I bought a beautiful doll, frida Kahlo cross and a gorgeous trinket box and I wish I could have bought more but unfortunately the space in my suitcase is limited! I could have looked at everything for hours. Do... More

Wow! We were so happy to re-find Rosa Mexicana. Two year before, Danielle was selling her beautiful collection in Puerto Morelos, where we stay for several months in the winter. It was, by far, the best assortment of gift items and household adornments in town. Then she was gone. We were delighted to re-discover Rosa Mexicana in Valladolid on a... More

Danielle Michon is the shop proprietor. Her store, just a half a block east of the main square, is a blend of art gallery, souvenir shop and organic beauty/health products. I have bought all sorts of items from her store, art work, wine glasses, health products, a (hand carved from a solid piece of wood) mortar and pestle, jewelry and... More

Danielle's store was recommended to me by friends and business owners on Isla Mujeres. Once we got to Valladolid, I realized that my traveling companion was also a friend of Danielle's and highly recommended her store. I tend to gravitate towards organic/natural beauty and health products. You HAVE to, have to (yes doubly) go to her shop if ever in... More

What a cute little store this is and very easy to find. We had never been to Vallodalid before but found it easy to locate this place. We drove in from Chichen Itza and followed the street in to the town square. This store is 1/2 block east of the town square, and the beautiful cathedral. The owner Danielle even... More
