The website says it's open until 5, but we arrived before 4 and it was shut down for the day. Fortunately they still let us in to look, but not to swim. Perhaps better to go with a tour group than on your own.

We took this tour along with Chichen itza through Alltournative tours and it was excellent. Our tour guide "Elias" was truely a delight and was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions. The trip to the cenote was a true adventure and very exciting to not only see but to actually experience. Rappelling down into the... More

The biggest cenote in Yucatán. Beautiful natural wonder. But they turned it into an attraction park with 2 ziplines and a diving platform. US$ 49 pp is just way too much for spending an hour or so in the cold cenote. Granted; lunch buffet is included but nothing special. Your 'personal guide' acts more like a guard who tells you... My entire family absolutely loved our day with Alltournative! We were picked up outside our resort (Moon Palace) perfectly on time, in a nice Sprinter-type van, picked up a few more people, and our group of six adults and six children was off to Chichen Itza followed by a trip to this quiet cenote. I mention Chichen Itza because it... More

I loved the cenote and the experience. It is now one of my favorite sports close to valladolid. They did a good job with the design of the stairs, the rappel and the diving platforms. If you go there, ask for Gonzalo, he was our tour guide and was very kind and helpful. I wouldn't do the tour with anyone... More

We rappelled into the refreshing water of Cenote Maya, and I highly recommend doing this if you visit. You can go down the stairs, but rappelling is easy, quick, and a cool experience! As well, the lunch we had afterwards was the best meal we had on the entire trip.

We repelled 100' into the Cenote, and swam and ziplined in the cool waters! Buffet lunch afterwards was very good too! i would do it again!

Went with a tour group. First the lunch had best food on our vacation. The staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs, and their visitors. I'm a wuss, but the zip line guy convinced me. Loved it. Needless to say Cenote and grounds are lovely

We drove to this place, I suggest going there without the tour groups gives you the time. I am telling you you would want all the time in this place. You rappel down to get in bring your Gopro head gear for full video experience, I was kicking myself in the butt cause I didn't bring mine so I didn't... More

We loved the Cenote Maya park. Fantastic rappel into the cenote, and great experience ziplining in the cave and swimming in the cenote. The Mayan culture is so huge at this park, and the lunch was great as well. GREAT experience!
