The view from this place is breath taking. We went there on a windy and cold day so we were not able to spend much time here. But the time we spend was awesome.

Really lovely fresh breezes at this spot with interesting history, including that of a giant man (forgot his name). All of the history has to be read. We spent about 30 minutes here. The views from the light house are picturesque. You can see a couple of the other islands from the look out point. Apparently there is a nude... More

The Aquinnah Cliffs are more stunning then pictures could ever show. I went in November when it was a little bit colder but at the same time a llittle less crowded. I have visited the Vineyard during the summer a few years back and I can tell you that the view never disappoints, no matter what season it is. Aquinnah... More

Next to being out on the water in a boat, this is the best place on the island to take on the challenge of seaside weather. Stunning at sunset or even in the fog, you can take shelter in the Aquinnah Shop restaurant or pick up a variety of casual meals at the shops on the cliff walk to eat... More

Very beautiful and completely unique. Like putting Bryce Canyon on the beach. We were there in October and had the entire beach to ourselves. Forget the lighthouse - you've seen plenty of those. The clay cliffs are remarkable for the palette of colors (red, orange, yellow, white, gray) they offer. Make sure that you take the path to the SOUTH... More

Anytime of year the cliffs are worth a visit. If you go in the summer there are snack shops and touristy shops and it a buzz with activity. If you go in the winter it is quiet and breath taking. Be careful near the fence as it is infested with poison ivy. Put some money in the view finder. On... More

When my girlfriend and I stayed on Martha's Vineyard, we rented a cottage right on the cliffs. We spent our first walk on Martha's Vineyard with a leisurely stroll along the beach that adjoins the cliffs. The cliffs are such a wonderful sight from the beach. We felt quite serene and relaxed staying at the west end of the island... More

Our our first day on MV we drove out to Aquinnah Cliffs and Gay Lighthouse. It was beautiful to see. What a view over the ocean and of the lighthouse. This is an easy & short climb. Easy to get to. Worth taking the time to go and see. I could have sat there all day and looked at the... More

We went up to Aquinnah on a drizzly afternoon. We arrived at the lighthouse and zipped through the gift shops and enjoyed the crafstmanship and history behind Aquinnah. The lighthouse is magnificient and the skies cleared and I was able to capture great pics. My sis in law married there, at the lighthouse. Beautiful drive and scenary.

We took a wonderful walk along a pristine beach. A little confusing due to no trail signs to the beach. Others were asking us which way to go. The whole area is quite beautiful and worth a visit.
