The zoo is great- a bit pricey but plenty to see. As a zoo full marks. However, the River Cottage is to be avoided if you intend eating. Over-priced, service fine, food options very limiting - definitely wouldn’t eat in there again. Only 1/5 for...More

Really enjoyed our visit. Much improved entrance complex, which is much more welcoming. Much better giraffe enclosure as well. Lovely to be able to get closer to them. The only issue is the cost of the entrance and the refreshments. Far too overpriced. But still...More

Firstly let it be said that this is still a reasonably good attraction as Zoos and parks go. It is very obvious that it is a huge site to maintain and to keep relevant for their members and guests from a cost point of view....More

Hello, Thank you for considering coming to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. Blue badge holders can either bring a free career or a free car into the zoo. Show your blue badge when you arrive at the car gate and our teams can assist.

Hello, ZSL is the largest Zoo in the UK which means there can be a lot of walking throughout the park. Many people opt to not bring the car in instead using our free bus and our train (small fee applies).
