Had an informative tour around the vineyards and bottling process with a lovely wine tasting session followed by a 2 course lunch. Run by very friendly people who obviously love their wine.

I purchased a voucher online for my wife, for a wine tasting and afternoon tea for 2, and Chilford Hall was the closest I could find in relation to our home. Also, I had previously seen this sign-posted from the main road on previously drives to London so knew of its existence. We arrived nice and early for the tour... More

The tour of the vineyards and winery is very interesting and of course the tasting session is the highlight. We really enjoyed ourselves and bought a few bottles. The afternoon tea looked delicious, we should try it next time. Really good value for money and well worth a visit.

I bought a voucher for my partner for Christmas and wine tasting/afternoon tea at Chilford Hall was one of our options. On arrival we were given a friendly welcome with a cup of tea. A short while later we walked half a mile to the vineyard where our tour guide informed us about the wine making process and although it... More

Our guide we so informative - I really did learn a lot about the production of wine. The wine tasting was fun and the wines were lovely. The lunch was really poor which sadly let the experience down. And being forced to share a table was a bit annoying. Overall really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Nice knowledgeable people giving tours and wine tasting experience. I found the wine a little crispy for my palette but it is after all England and we don't have the heat for the top wines really.

We received the tour and lunch as a present, the tour was great a very knowledgeable guide and the wine tasting lovely and we bought some wine to take home. The thing that spoilt the experience was the lunch, it was jacket potato, chicken with a sauce and salad. The potato was rock hard, we both had halves of different... More

As the trip was a xmas present we would have enjoyed it regardless however out of all the vineyard tours I have ever been on this was the most informative. After the tour we tasted 5 fine wines ( we ended up purchasing 6 bottles of our favourite 10% discount) and then had a fantastic afternoon tea. We left with... More

Always delightful to explore an English Vineyard which has helped push back the supremacy of our European neighbors, particularly in white wine. A good shop and lovely grounds to picnic in.
