Amazing history behind the building although the staff not over polite or friendly. Didn't feel able to spend much time without feeling in the way. Mores the pity.

This treasured building is currently up for sale, currently an antique business, however when rescued and restored by the Myott family in early 1930's, serviced decades as a very special top rated restaurant.... Well worth a visit to view a building Steeped on history.

I visited with my husband and was greeted with a nod. The gentleman on duty followed us around so closely we felt extremely uncomfortable and not able to enjoy the building.

Antiques galore, inside the original Tudor building. Great for antique enthusiasts, with the added pleasure of a pre nineteenth century building.

A lovely old building in the same vein as other Elizabethan buildings in the town. Initially owned by Rychard Churche, a local merchant but in later years became a restaurant of some repute. It has now become a high quality antiques dealership .... what a...More
