Quite good but only about 20 mind start to end. I would not say it's worth the entry price but is OK if you add it to your cruise tickets. I wouldn't suggest making a special trip to see it however if you start at lakeside then it's worth a peep.

Thank you for your review, tickets are valid all day and we do have a full schedule of talks and interactive handling sessions throughout the day for you to enjoy, plus quiz trails for you to do as you go around. As you said to make a full day , combined boat or train tickets offer value for money. Trains... More

The kids always love to visit the aquarium especially the otters and the feeding time. Value for money ticket as you can go and come back on the same day

Went as two families as part of a trip on the Haverthwaite railway. Nice place to go. The kids love it even though we have been several times before. Educational and entertaining.

Fantastic tour from fish to reptiles :) £13 for two tickets is amazing :) Abit short but doesn't affect how good it is

We (daughter and her 2 boys - 7&5) visited first thing, and had the place more or less to ourselves for an hour. it was great. The boys really liked it, The otter feeding was the hi light, with the keeper, being most attentive, and being able to show the boys the otters (at the glass) they were able to... More

Thank you for your review, as you said we open at 10am and this does tend to be our quietest part of the day, plus it is a good time to come as the otter get fed at 10.30am and this is a great thing to see. Unfortunately we do not have toilets available inside the aquarium, however tickets are... More

Great place to visit on a rainy day. The otters are fascinating and the ant trail could keep you occupied for ages. Also, great selection on fish to view and the tunnel is a great way to see them.

This is a small aquarium that will not take too long to go around. It has a number of different themed areas. I particularly enjoyed the tiny harvest mice, the leaf cutter ants and the walk through aquarium. Sadly the ducks had just been fed and were not interested in diving so I did not see them In enjoyed my... More

This little aquarium is ideal for a wet afternoon in the Lake District. There was a nice selection of fish and other animals, all which had well maintained tanks. The aquarium isn't massive but it is what you make of it - there are lots of opportunities to read extra information and various activities for children. The aquarium was set... More
