Castle Donington Museum Trust was founded in 1994 to provide and maintain a Local History Museum, reflecting the long and interesting history of this community overlooking the River Trent, which brought, in their turn, Saxons, Romans, Vikings and Normans to the heart of England. We are an accredited museum operated as a charitable trust run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Opening hours from Easter Sunday to the end of September; Saturdays 09:30 to 12:00 Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays 14:00 to 16:30 May Day 09:30 to 15:30 Parties by appointment, please telephone FREE ADMISSION - donations welcome

Family day out. 12 quid each for adults.Plenty to see, loads of formula 1 cars, military vehicles and memorabilia. would like to have seen more bikes.

This is a very large collection of racing cars and associated memorabilia, plus an interesting military museum. A very good place for a petrol head to spend a happy couple of hours.

I only went as I was killing time and found it to be more interesting than I had expected. If you are into your cars however then this is definitely worth a visit and good value for money. The cafe is also worth a visit...More

Amazing selection of F1 cars well displayed. Easy to walk round. Also some interesting Military vehicles. Very good cafe. We bought tickets supposedly half price with Five Star Days - be warned - the real price when we got there was only £1 each more!!!...More
