A walk in the forest with our guide proved to be impressive for its ancient flora and fauna and inspiring for its quiet beauty. As we walked we observed primeval trees and ferns and we spotted feral pigs, a tree dragon, and several cassowaries, those...More

We met so many visitors to the Daintree region who wanted to really ‘experience’ the rainforest but didn’t know where to start – and this incredible tour was our answer every time. We arrived knowing virtually nothing about the rainforest but our wonderful guide, Angie,...More

HIs knowledge and experience were just so ... extensive. Plus a real 'spirituality' with this the oldest rain forest in the world. It completely altered my impression of the rainforest, so pleased we did the walk.

My partner and I decided to take the 4 hour tour after some brief research into the Daintree region. It was a very eye opening and educational experience for us both- two adults with minimal knowledge about the history of the rainforest. Our day was...More

Our two hour fan palm rainforest walk was a favourite of our Cape Tribulation visit. Our guide, Prue, led our group into the rainforest on her property, sharing her 25+ years of botanical and conservation insights, and drawing from whatever animals present themselves on the...More

The walk in the rainforest at Cooper Creek is a real treat - such a beautiful place. Our guide, Neil, was very knowledgeable and it was a delight to see such a range of plants and animals/insects. Definitely worth wearing closed shoes for and not...More

Unless you participated on either a 2-hour Grand Fan Palm Gallery Tour or a 4-hour Greater Wilderness Experience, then you did not experience the product that you have directed your review towards. There is no doubt that the region you travelled through suffers from an...More

Daintree Rainforest can, in fact, only be experienced on a guided, interpreted walking tour. The website link in the TripAdvisor Daintree Rainforest property contact details provides all the necessary information for securing access. One of the great difficulties for travellers, is the confusing identities of...More

We did the combined river cruise and the four hour walk in the rainforest. The cruise was really good. Very relaxing and thanks to the persistent efforts of our boat captain, we were able to see a crocodile secreted within the mangroves. Then on to...More

This is a must see, but somewhat underwhelming in certain senses. No real wildlife, (that we saw). Very few birds. But! It is an ancient forest and major contributor to the world's Eco system. Would not have missed it. Great views coming and going.More

Your review states that you 'Would not have missed it', but regrettably, you did. So do the vast majority of travellers that cross the Daintree River Ferry and the multitudes that don't even make it that far. Admittedly, an accurate strike is made manifestly more...More
