Best place in the world!

There's something special about being able to experience the beauty and grandeur of one of the oldest rainforests in the world with such ease.

Took a day trip form Palm Cove. Beautiful forrest and worth a look, but an aweful lot of driving for the amount of things to see. It is a shame that you can't swim at the beach this time of the year (January) as the beaches look sensational.

Well worth the long drive if staying in TNQ! Beautiful scenery and beautiful beaches. Recommend starting the drive in the morning to make a day of it, we didn't get there until late afternoon and felt we didn't have enough time there.

A must see!!! We stayed here for 4 days and it was heaven on earth. Literally did not want to leave. So much to see and do and enjoy. (Forest, beaches, activities) No trip to North Queensland would be complete without a visit to this slice of heaven.

The beaches are beautiful, it is a shame you can't go in the water because of the crocodiles and at this time of year the stingers. It is a beautiful ride, the vegetation is incredible. We were only in Pt Douglas for 4 days, eventhough the ride was beautiful, I would not do it again. It is a whole day... More

Long dreamed of visiting Daintree. It exceeded my expectations. Paradise on Earth. Stayed in one of the many AirBNB's in the area. Hit the swimming holes on the hot sunny days and watch out for cassowaries. The beaches are post-card perfect pristine. Just too bad about the stingers and crocs. But it's a wilderness paradise, that for whatever reason when... More

Decided to do self-drive hiring a car for one day - covering Mossman Gorge, Daintree discovery park and finally up to Cape Tribulation - all doable in one day. Even managed a quick swim at Mason's waterhole and delicious ice cream at Daintree ice cream company on the Daintree road. We found 'The Daintree self drive audio guide' bought from... More

We came here with a tour company. It is a beautiful and serene area. We did short walks and enjoyed getting to the beach area. It didn't have too many tourists so we had time to relax and have our lunch there. Highky recommended

Beautifull to go with the little pond, into the daintree national park. Only a few lookouts, but the are great. We were the only one's at the beacht at one point. Senic drive!
