Well worth taking the time to explore while your up this way, don't need to book a full tour if you have a car that's all you need then chose to pay for certain guided tours at particular locations that interest you.

I would have like to have done the longer hike, but you need a full day for that. We arrive at 10 am which did not give us long enough. The was another hike that we could not do because it was raining and the...More

The Daintree is a must see for all Australians. It's a beautiful place and amazing to see the diverse nature of the place. Lots to see and do, on a budget or 5 star traveller there is an option for everyone!

The very large Daintree National Park is a wonderful and mind boggling experience, wildlife, flora, fauna all preserved and protected with sensitivity to the traditional owners. Walkways and paths protect the area from trampling by over enthusiastic explorers and fences roads, bridges and other structures...More

To visit the Daintree you don't need to do a tour. Self drive option is great but you do need one of the detailed cape tribulation maps. Its called Your map of the Daintree Coast. It has all of the attractions/board walks/ accommodation listed. Ask...More

We have been to lots of national park in Oz but this one is speechless. Just amazing how nature works in that rainforest. Amazing wildlife and ocean view.

We were in Cains for a week and decided to take a trip up to the Daintree. The drive is a little windy in parts but it is not difficult. It costs about $30 to cross on the car ferry and you are virtually straight...More

Hi there, I'm having difficulty finding information online but I was wondering if you'd have availability for 27th evening? Only one night for 3 people (1 male, 2 females). If you could let me know on ssshirleypim hotmail com I'd be most grateful. And if it is available, the best way to book or a number to call? Thanks in advance! Shirley

When in cairns there are a lot of tours so you can see cape Tribulation. Billy tea tours is a really good one, they are on tripadvisor.
