Saw the biggest spider ever!! - but it wasn't where we were walking.

This is a must to go to for a day from Port Douglas as we did. We drove in our hired car, took the ferry and then just wandered the whole day. Wonderful

Had a great day yesterday doing a day tour round the Daintree area including a cruise on the Daintree river. Eco tourism at its best

This is a great place to visit, worth making the effort to go beyond Cairns. Spend a couple of days here and immerse yourself in what's on offer

It's a great way to get around, and you can decide your own day. Lots to see and do for people who want to explore, relax, eat, etc. So many beaches and beautiful rainforest walkways etc. Its great they haven't replaced the ferry with a bridge so it keeps the numbers lower on the north side.

I love to spot the spiders while bushwalking at the daintree forest. It was an amazing experience to see and learn how things work.

A walk in the forest, a drive on a 4wd and a cruise on the river are the things on offer! Whether you want to spot a crocodile or enjoy the lush of the tropical forest, the park is the ideal place for you. Of course, make sure you have some insect repellent with you!

Great day trip, drove ourselves along the curviest rainforest roads. We stopped for picnic lunch at Cate Tribulation beach, once again wanting to jump into her emerald ocean for cooling off but holding back with the croc and stinger warnings. Such a pity. Beaches all along Daintree are amazing, tropical paradise at its best. Stopped and did one of the... More

You can't swim there, but it was fun just walking around in the sand. THen walking up to the observation point, there were wonderful views. Very worthwhile.
