Description:

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree...

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation.

The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103.

The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!)

There are eight two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

This is a great and unique way to spend a couple of hours in Cape Tribulation. The guides are funny and very knowledgeable, the views are spectacular and it combines adrenaline with education! We had a small tour which was a bonus, but I would recommend booking as they fill up a lot of the time even though they go... More

We had a group of 5 people on our tour and had a fantastic time and expeience. The guides are knowledgeable and ever safety conscious. Being frientened of heights I was concerned about how I would go, I need not have worried, you are always secure. Enjoy the views and experience. I will definitely do this again.

We were the only two booked in for our time slot. We had the pleasure of going up with Bill and Noel with leaving Riley behind. Despite being very serious on safety they all still managed to be incredibly friendly making it a fun experience. I can tell they put a lot of effort into getting to know us and... More

Great experience being able to zip line through the oldest rainforest in the world. A must do. Not only was the activity fun itself but the tour guides really take the time out to educate you on the various plants and history of the Daintree. Who said learning couldn't be fun?!

Recommend by friends we gave this a go not expecting much. This is a highly safe and professional outfit catering for all age groups and expected experience. All the guides were appreciative of those who didn't want to be as adventurous as others but encouraged and facilitated those who did. We were there on an extremely rainy day which the... More

My husband and I were part of a tour and this was one of our excursions. I was terrified to do this but it turned out to be one of our best excursions in all of Australia! The staff were a lot of fun, knowledgeable and made sure our safety was their #1 priority. We had such a fun time,... More

Absolutely recommend everyone to join jungle surfing! It was so lovely to meet all the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made the activity perfect! Six surfing between each platform with slow and fast speedy and upsidedown surfing experience. I challenged myself a lot haha. It took 2 hours to finfish with $95 which was very valuable! will do it again... More

Excellent way to see the Daintree, drove up from Port Douglas was lucky enough to see a Cassowary & its chick, then spent a few hours flying amongst the trees. Well worth the effort. Peter E

We drove up from Port Douglas to do this activity. We were told it would take 2 hrs, but it only took about 1.5 hrs to get there and was an interesting drive. The zip line was fun. The guys who looked after us were good fun, very safety conscious, and knew a lot about the jungle. For the first... More

Thanks for your feedback, it sounds like you enjoyed the tour. I wanted to address a few of your concerns. We always advise 2 hours drive from Port Douglas as sometimes you can get stuck behind slow moving traffic and you also have to catch the Daintree ferry which if you miss it, you'll have to wait another 10 minutes.... We are a family of 5. 3 teenagers loved the jungle surfing. Hosts were great and very informative about the surroundings, plants, animals and insects. There are 6 surfs which took about 2 hours from start to finish. Jessie and Tom were excellent guides. Thank you. Unforgettable experience.
