Description:

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree...

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation.

The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103.

The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!)

There are eight two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

I don't like heights but decided to face my fears and just do it. I am so glad I did. It was the best feeling gliding through the tee tops. The guides were great at making you feel safe. They knew what they were doing. Great fun activity.

Took the grandchildren there for a jungle surf and we all had a fantastic time. Go early to beat the heat. Very helpful staff. Quite a pretty area and the guides have a lot of local knowledge.

We drove to Cape Tribulation from Palm Cove especially to do the Jungle Surfing and we were not disappointed. The guys are really enthusiastic and make the experience great fun, they even persuaded us to go up side down and the race at the end was exciting. They were really knowledgeable and even got us to lick the lime backsides... More

I did this as part of a day trip, and this was the best part. This isn't extreme sports, but something to push you out there. The staff were lively, and the human hamster wheel was interesting

Jungle surfing.... who knew! Make sure you book ahead as this is popular. We decided to bite the bullet & join the early tour & It was a great way to start the day - SO much fun! The young surfer guides are just so professional & engaging. It's obvious they love their work. I am not particularily adventurous &... More

The tour guides were amazing. But don't expect much adrenaline in this tour. It's a perfect tour for kids. You get great views of daintree from the top too. But if you're a backpacker, as we were, better save your money.

This was truly an experience. I was travelling solo and the guides made me feel totally involved around the other loved up couples. I was nervous about it all and the guys were great, especially our guide Guy. He made sure I did feel left out and got the full experience. It is an adrenalin rush and I highly recommend... More

Boring & wish I'd known prior to booking that it wasn't an adrenaline rush. We finally got to a longer line & they made us stop halfway to pose for a pic above a tiny creek. Don't do this if you're looking for excitement.
