Crocodile Express operate from 2 locations on the beautiful Daintree River.

The "Upper Daintree Cruise" departs from Daintree Village. Our office and check-in are located in Daintree Tourist Information Centre in the Village centre.

"Lower Daintree Cruise" departs from 300 meters before the Daintree Ferry Crossing, look for the big croc head to check-in.

Both cruises are different in landscape and environment, upper Daintree cruise starts from Daintree Village going through rainforest and country farming pastures with the lower Daintree cruise goes past rainforest and mangroves. Crocodiles, abundant birdlife and reptile can be seen on both cruises. Take one cruise and take the second free ! You are welcome to come back as many times as you like. Go to our website for conditions. There is no better value wildlife cruise in tropical Queensland.

Had a nice 1hr trip 2 days ago on the crocodile express. No pre-booking needed, we simply just turned up and bought a ticket. The tour was taken by a local elderly gentleman, I forget his name, who was incredibly knowledgeable. Most of the crocs didn't come out to play but we got to see a 3 metre female and... More

We bought a ticket with this company because it was good value, and the bonus is that the standard ticket allows you to have unlimited trips on the two routes this company offer (from the ferry and from Daintree village). I think the ticket is valid for about a month. We thought that was really great. We took the earliest... More

Thanks for your wonderful review. Glad to see you took advantage of our bonus cruise pass and experienced both of our cruise locations. Yes, your pass is valid for 30 days so if you have the time come back again free of charge. Regards Vince More

We joined a morning cruise near the ferry. It was a very high tide, a bit on the cool side and therefore not many of the big crocs were about but we did see a baby, a one year old and a 2 metre crocodile. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative. Crocodile Express offer a multi-day pass which you can... More

Plenty of Daintree cruises to choose from but would highly recommend lex and the crocodile express. Friendly, funny and informative - led definitely knows his stuff! Saw a couple of crocs too which was great!

I choose Crocodile Express because of the cute name and the timing of their cruise. Fit perfectly in my schedule. It far expected my expectations! A great cruise on the Daintree river, great view of vegetation (reminds me of Amazon) and of course a crocodile. He is probably an employee, ha, ha. Got the photos I wanted and even when... More

Arrived after closing time, however, croc express put on a private boat as one of the tour guides was still there for our group of 5. The tour took about an hour and we saw one small croc, plenty of birds and were given lots of information on the local area and the flora and fauna

The cruise, the guides and the staff are fantastic, but you are really taking a punt when you go on the Crocodile Express as you are not guaranteed to see crocodiles. The ticket is good value for $28 as you can go on multiple cruises from two different departure points (Daintree Village and Daintree River Ferry - if you book... More

We did 2 tours on Monday before Anzac Day. The first from the Daintree village at 12:30 with an awesome guide who was also a fruit farmer (wish I remembered his name). He was absolutely fantastic, knowledgable and deserves a full 5 stars as that tour was just hands down brilliant! Yes we saw lots of crocs which made it... More

This tour was a standout just for the great local guide who explained what we were seeing and why we were seeing it. It was a privilege to be on the cruise and seeing 3 crocodiles really topped it off!
