We called in for local maps and information and were given all we needed. maps and other leaflets are didplsyed in geographical areas and it was easy to get what we needed

Very friendly staff, and very helpful. Visitors Centre is nicely laid out, and staff were able to recommend sights in town as well as on outr travel direction.

We were travelling during the recent rain and couldn't get to where we wanted to. We ventured to the information centre and the ladies there were a great help. They gave us some great options to continue our holiday.

Sure is... take the Gregory Hwy then turn off onto the Peak Downs Hwy... it's a sealed highway all the way through. Also a lot quicker than going via Rockhampton.
