Take a walk in the clouds in Wooroonooran National Park just 15 minutes out of Innisfail. Elevated walkways, a cantilever, and observation tower offer visitors the exhilarating experience of being high in the rainforest canopy, along with providing spectacular panoramic views of World Heritage rainforest landscapes. The Mamu Tropical Skywalk allows visitors to explore the rainforest from the forest floor to the canopy, in comfort and safety. The Skywalk passes through one of the largest-remaining continuous stands of complex vine forest on basalt soils in the Wet Tropics. Enjoy close-up views of rainforest plants, insects and birds, and take in sweeping vistas. Information signs tell of the rainforest's complex web of life and the rich culture and history of the area.

For the high cost of entry it was very very disappointing, even more so as it is an out of the way attraction. Yes, the rainforest and walk are nice, but, the sky-walk to Barron falls in Kuranda is much better, closer to Cairns and...More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review - I am glad you found the rainforest and walk to be nice! We charge an admission fee that allows us to employ staff, and cover operational costs. It's not realistic to compare the costs...More

Day out with your wife, family or friends. Easy walking tracks for any age. Great views and friendly service. If you do Mamu Skywalk buy the double pass for Paronella park. If you buy both at same time you get a discount on price and...More

We were greeted by the friendly staff, and given umbrellas to cope with the imminent threat of rain. I took a headset, but quickly gave up on the commentary, as it was accompanied by music which distracted from the sounds of the forest. And the...More

A walk through the rainforest comes at a hefty price...$24 for a walk through the forest. The tower gives you a great view but it's too pricey. Save your money and do one of the waterfall walks instead!More

Thank you for your review. I am glad that you enjoyed the view from the tower! Potential visitors should keep in mind that the cost of admission covers access to the rainforest walk, a Cantilevered Lookout, a 300 metre long Skywalk, a 37 metre tall...More

Received discount entry offer to Mamu after visiting Paronella Park - and so glad we took it up. There is a free audio tour available & it certainly added value to our walk through a beautiful part of NQ rainforest. Not very good with heights...More

We nearly didn’t go here because we have done canopy walks before, but so glad we did. The rainforest is simply stunning. Upon entry we were given self-guided audio tour kits, which made the tour so much more enjoyable. We were also give booklets about...More

2.5km round trip including 40m cantilever, an elevated walkway rising 15 m and 37m tower in the comfort of the rainforest. Great for all ages but some might want to pass on the tower. Great priced and only a 15 - 20 minute drive off...More

What a nice little gem! This place is so hidden but definitely a must do! The views along the skywalk are breath taking. It's worth the small price to enter.

This is a hidden surprise. The walk is great, the cantilever and tower offer excellent views and the tree board walk was beautiful. This offers a great taste of the rainforest in the north Johnstone valley. A better gift shop and maybe a coffee shop...More

We questioned whether to proceed with our visit as it had started raining and was overcast but it was still an extremely enjoyable experience as the clouds and rain made for a very authentic Tablelands experience (they provide you with umbrellas for days like this)....More

No it's very expensive, we went as a family of four and it cost $100 to enter. Would not recommend it at that price.
