Great beach for picnic, a little holiday or even just a coffee break. Etty Bay just relaxes your mind but invigorates your senses. The weather was cloudy with the occasional shower of rain, we just stood under the huge trees for shelter whilst watching the...More

This is a lovely little dead end type beach. I would think those who frequent, would like to keep it a secret. Lovely little place to stay for a couple of days. Saw our first resident cassowary on the way into the beach.

Yep not much there but what there is is magnificent, a truly scenic wonderment of a patch of tropical heaven, if your camping it's the spot to visit .

This has been a long term favourite spot for me. It's a little overgrown these days when turning back at the bottom of the hill but still a great spot. The caravan park still looks great and the beech itself is still pristine.

A beautiful beach but more interesting for those looking for cassowaries, hard to find in most places but saw a family here - a beutiful bird with wonderful colours.

This stop isn't on the main road, but it's beautiful drive out. Walk the beach and grab a coffee, you may even be lucky enough to be introduced to the local cassowary family.

This cute beach is like a hidden gem. It is like a rainforest meeting the beach. The caravan park is handy as it is off the beaten track. The enclosed swimming beach was both safe and refreshing. We saw a few cassowaries as it was...More

Gorgeous beach just about an hour drive from mission beach. Lovely for swimming outside of stinger season (Nov-march). Public toilets, BBQ plates and picnic benches. We were also lucky enough to see some sky divers land on the beach which was really cool 😃
