What a workout! We started from the base of Stoney Creek, located about 15 mins outside of Cairns, it's challenging, but soo worth it! Took my partner and I about 2.5 hours roundtrip including photos at the top, we jogged the majority of the route....More

This is a challenging walk which rewards you with a fantastic view at the end out to Smithfield and the coast overlooking the Northern Beaches. You can also take a swim in one of the Stoney Creek water holes for a refreshing cool off afterwards....More

A wonderful walk through world heritage rainforest of approximately 5 km one way to Glacier Rock, wonderful views of Cairns CDB, Cairns Airport, Green Island await.

Enjoy this scenic route. This is a wonderful experience if it's the first time you have been to Cairns and surrounds. Many twists and turns in the road.

An amazing view, extremely accessable to keen hikers, from Speewah campground, Stoney Creek carpark, or Wrights Lookout.

Great view of the area, hike can be challenging we had a 12yo and 18yo who coped well. The best views were up the grassy hill before reaching the McDonald track intersection, although it was nice to get to the rock.

This is a terrific walk that forms part of the Douglas Track and can be started from 2 locations. The shorter track starts at the end of Douglas Track Road, the longer track starts 100 metres past the Stoney Creek car park. A easy to...More

A relatively easy walk with a few semi-steep grades and up hill all the way. (which means downhill all the way back) The views are great and it's only another 1 ½ hours to walk right through to Kuranda to catch the train back.
