Visited with our adult children & we all loved it especially the Army Duck Rain Forest Tour. All the tours were terrific & I would like to thank one of our guides Ray. He was terrific & very attentive We all loved his stories & throwing the Boomerang. The BBQ Buffet Lunch was very tasty & enjoyed by us all.... More

This came as part of a "package" organized by a tour group including the train and sky rail. All in all the whole day was great, but Rainforestation was amazing. Wife and son took a pic holding a Koala, Petted Kangaroos, saw a Cassowary among other animals. Ours included a buffet lunch that was more than adequate (we all even... More

A good 45 minute tour which you can also add other things onto as well. A lot of very interesting facts about the local rainforest... More

The clue is in the name, Rain Forrest. Now expect rain in a rain forrest, in fact when in Cairns expect rain. The American tourists surrounding me on the Army Duck Boat whinged and moaned constantly about the weather, oh well at least they weren't as rude as the hoards of Chinese tourists. When booked as part of a package... More

Although we had booked as a family of four, we were grouped together with around 35 other people for the four organised events. One of which, wait for it, was the opportunity to throw a boomerang once, and then wait half an hour for the rest of the group to throw theirs! The promised interaction simply doesn't exist - this... Thank you for taking the time to visit and then write a review of Rainforestation. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed by your visit. Certainly when visiting during the peak tourism season, particularly on days in which there is a cruise ship in town, Rainforestation can be quite busy, but this is actually no different to other Kuranda attractions,... Worst thing about this is the $12 bus fare to get from Kuranda village. Also chaotically organised with no clear way to pay for this 5 minute journey. If you must go I suggest you drive, 20 miles from Cairns it will be cheaper than this tourist bus!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Rainforestation. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed by the shuttle bus. To explain this further, it’s $12 per adult for the return trip from Kuranda Village to our park, and this covers operational costs. We offer this shuttle as there are many visitors who make their way to... More

A fantastic excursion! Very knowledgeable experts and the aboriginal guys were brilliant - all with masses of passion (and the lunch was lovely mmm). Hope Neville the Devil lasts a while longer; his a real little character!!

An excellent day out apart from the rain!! Really enjoyed the duck. The skyrail over the rainforest. The activities with the Aboriginal team. The wildlife centre was very interesting with a guide who was just like Steve Irwin. Excellent food including Kangaroo, delicious. The highlight was holding a Koala bear.

Our trip to the rainforestation nature park wouldn't have been great if not for Mitch, who was our guide for the Army duck boat tour. The park has other activities such as a koala and wildlife park and aboriginal experiences where they show you how to throw spears and boomerangs. But none of them were as exciting as the duck...
