This was an amazing experience! I got to personally enjoy being surrounded by all kinds of beautiful and exotic birds as well as other interesting native animals of Australia. And I actually got to hold a little Koala! A wonderful experience!

The kangaroos and wallabies are the highlight here, in an open feeding/petting area. Even in the pouring rain, several were very friendly and interested in seeing us. There is also an opportunity to hold a koala and get a picture. That was very quick (very...More

As Cairns locals we occasionally venture up to Kuranda for an outing. It was the first time we visited this place. It's a small zoo of a selection of native animals. The surroundings and enclosures were pleasant. You are able to feed the wallabies and...More

Lovely to see some local feedback. Thanks for making it up to Kuranda.

It s a small area with different animals. However, its nice as you can interact with the animals as they some of them roam quite freely. For an extra cost you can also hold a koala 🐨 which was a pretty unique experience for us...More

This is a small zoo and you can finish the whole visit in less than an hour. Our kids were thrilled to hold the koala and feed the wallabies. This place is definitely touristy but is ok if you want to check off a bucket...More

I went today to visit this establishment with my teenager daughter. Positive points: there are koalas, wallabies, wombats and other animals to see. The attraction is good, yet treatment of animals, particularly of wallabies, is insensitive and against their nature. There is a place where...More

Many thanks for your comments and feedback. If you were concerned with the conduct of fellow visitors, it would have been a matter of common sense to find a keeper so they could intervene. We have at least five wildlife staff restored on at the...More

I was almost going to skip this but then decided to go and hold a koala and see the iconic animals. It’s worth it to see them in their native country. It’s a small park but you get up close and personal.

Yes, they accept credit card. Not sure if you can buy the tickets in London, not sure what you mean with here. But you can get a ticket for the train and the zoo in Kuranda when you are there .
