Really enjoyed getting some insight into the Aboriginal culture. Jared was a very friendly, relaxed guide and interesting to hear some knowledge about the ways of the past. The river was beautiful and quite an easy walk.

I hesitated about adding on the Dreamtime tour as I like to wander at my own pace, but I am really glad that we did. Jared was a lovely guide and gave us a very personal insight into his and his family's experience and history,...More

If you are visiting the far North Queensland region and the Daintree, I strongly recommend you include this guided walk in your itinerary. Walking the trails with a member of the local Aboriginal guardians was a real pleasure. Gaining insights to the spiritual connection to...More

Visited Mossman gorge over 20 years and loved it then, so wanted to go back when cruising to Port Douglas. Still amazing, but this time we had the opportunity of doing the Dreamtime walk with Mooks. This is definitely something everyone should do!

We really enjoyed this walk in what was a small group of just six people with Mooks, our Kuku Yalanji guide. Mooks (I think it means "mate" as he calls everyone 'mooksy', and we couldn't even begin to repeat his Aboriginal name) spent his first...More

Our guide for the dream time walk through Mossman Gorge was Aaron. It was our first day in the country and what a great introduction. Smoking ceremonies, artwork, bush medicine all fascinating. I'm quite unfit and have poor balance but this walk was completely doable....More

I would allow a mimimum of one hour for the Kuku Yalangi visit to Mossman Gorge. If you have children with you, it is up to you how much time you spend. There is a lovely swimming hole with very cool water coming down from... More
