Spent a very leisurely hour and half strolling through the various buildings. Easy access - extensive displays with good information on items. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Even found an idea to try to display broken previous items.

What a wonderful display of local history - we spent a couple of hours here reading stories, reminiscing about the way school was, old telephones and Nana's house. A must on the way past.

There are 12 buidlings, ie school house, house, farm house and other farm machinery and photos and general memorabilia. It is a fantastic look at the heritage of Stanthorpe through it's pioneers and the Italians who settled in the area. A wonderful... More

The museum is well laid out and presents a wonderful display of local history. We learned so much during our visit. Stanthorpe was not just apples and grapes. It has a wide variety of artifacts displayed and well worth a visit.

Great museum to spend time with the family and a trip down memory lane. We have 2 teenagers who enjoy the hand on experience and my husband and myself constantly say "you remember" this. Highly recommend the museum for a family experience. Beautiful people who volunteer to keep this wonderful experience alive.

This a museum that caters for most ages with a variety of displays and history The people in the museum were full of information which we very much appreciated. What a great idea to have two entries for the price of one. There is so much to take in.

Dropped in here one afternoon mid week. Very interesting and so much to see. There are about 8 buildings so make sure to go into each one and every room. Worth the couple of hours looking through Australia's history in that area.
