We took the day tour yesterday and loved everything about it. The trip was very well organized from start to finish. Brenton is super knowledgable and very good with kids. Our 7 year old twins enjoyed the day just as much as we did. In addition, Brenton was very patient answering all questions in a kids friendly manner as well.... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a Canoe the Coorong review. I am glad you had such a great time kayaking on the Coorong. It is so important that children have a positive first introduction in a kayak, so they keep looking forward to outdoor experiences as they grow up. I am please that we could find the balance... Brenton is super knowledgeable about all the local wildlife and environment. We canoed passed a fur seal, saw thousands of amazing birds, walked sand dunes and ate great home made food and bush tucker. Fantastic day out!

Our guide Brenton is the owner of this business. He was friendly, down to earth, inclusive of everyone in the group and very well organized. Brenton is passionate about ecotourism and this delicate landscape. Migratory birds had laid eggs on the beach and were at risk of damage by visitors to this region if he had not pointed them out... Thanks for your kind words. I love the Coorong and showing people all the little hidden gems we have in Coorong National Park. You never quite know what you will see in the Coorong from rare and endangers birds, spectacular and fragile scenery, tasty bush foods, seals, dolphins, and those gorgeous sand dunes stretching as far as the eyes can... This was the highlight of our day in the region. We did the sunset tour. Brenton was an amazing host and a guide. He set up a nice little picnic for us on the sand dunes to watch the sunset with kangaroos watching over us. Lots of birds to see. Canoeing back felt like a scene from a movie. It... More

Our family of four did the whole day tour. It was the right mix of kayaking, bird watching and experiencing the sand dunes of the Coorong and Murray mouth. The kayaking wasn't too strenuous - no trouble for our 8 and 11 yr old boys. Such a beautiful environment. Brendon was a great guide - loved the bush tucker talk... More

This tour of the Coorong with it's beautiful features was an amazing experience. Everything was organised really well and Brenton went through the details thoroughly; while maintaining an interesting experience throughout. The tour met the criteria well for eco tourism standards, which is a huge plus and made the tour that much more enjoyable; learning about the natural environment that... More

We did the self-guided tour and it was very well planned, we got upgraded to a bigger boat because there were some waves and everything was thought through. Waterproof bags were provided and we started kayaking just after the sunrise. The Coorong was really beautiful and we spotted a lot of wildlife, there were Emus walking on the beach and... More

What a terrific day paddling round the beautiful and peaceful Coorong! Just the right balance of kayaking, walking and munching on scrummy food. Brenton is so engaging and full of fascinating info about the area. For a first time kayaker I was pleasantly surprised at how relaxing and enjoyable it was - learning the 'cockle dance' and sampling the bush... More

Brenton works hard to make sure you have an interesting and fun day. There are frequent stops for short bush walks across the dunes, where Brenton picks bush tucker for you to taste. And then it's also included in lunch later. We walked over to the ocean and were taught the cockle dance to find them. The dunes and lagoons... More
