It had always been on my bucket list to visit the Coorong National Park and I was not disappointed! Our family had a marvellous time on the Discovery cruise and I'd love to return to do the full day cruise in the future. The boat was comfortable, we loved the picnic lunch boxes and the captain and crew were informative... More

The warm greeting by the lady in the office was a great start to our Coorong Cruise and was made even better by the wealth of knowledge and experience of the captain and guide, Bain and his assistant, Lachie. We enjoyed pipis cooked on the boat by Bain, a delicious lunch of cold meats and salad, tea and coffee and... More

Today we boarded the boot for the Coorong Adventure Cruise and what an adventure it was. We saw seals sunning on the lock structure while we sailed through the Goolwa Barrage, an abundance of birdlife all the way and had a taste of some Cocles prepared by the skipper Bain. We had a fantastic walk over the sand dunes at... More

We went on the 6 hour cruise. Very informative narration. A little long for us but still a good cruise.

Spirit of the Coorong scenic tour was chosen for a landmark birthday celebration. A leisurely cruise with expert commentary on regional flora and fauna complemented by a casual lunch were key elements of the tour. The "Spirit" took us through the Goolwa lock, in the company of local seals. On the far side (downstream) the bird life was clearly enjoying... More

We took our cruise of the Coorong aboard the Spirit of the Coorong and found the whole experience exhilarating, informative and very good value. Lunch and an entree of freshly cooked cockles/pipi in a creamy white sauce along with afternoon tea were all included. The boat is modern and comfortable and even though the boat was almost full everybody was... More

We did the 3.5 hours tour which was a fascinating insight into the Coorong, the Murray river and the port of Goolwa. The walk over sand dunes was not too difficult and worthwhile to do, it was great to see the wild southern ocean. Nathan our guide introduced us to indigenous plants and gave an interesting insight into the local... More

We took the 3.5 hour, Spirit of the Coorong, "Coorong Discovery Cruise". It was fantastic! Great commentary throughout the cruise. Many stops to see the fabulous scenery, seals and bird life. A very generous lunch was provided early in the cruise. The walk through the sand dunes to the Southern Ocean was also very interesting. The visit to the mouth... More

We took the 6-hour Discovery Cruise. This was SUCH an interesting and enjoyable cruise, we can't imagine how it could be any better. We saw hundreds of pelicans, terns, geese, ducks, red-necked avocets and other waders, and dozens of seals. We walked across sand dunes to the beach on the southern ocean, ate the most delicious cockles ever, learned about... More
