This was given to us as a gift. CHIN was our buddy wine blending advisor and we had so much fun in the class (1.5hrs). We created our own unique bottle of RED wine and took home a 750ml sample bottle of our favourite blend complete with label (which YOU name) of the wine we made ourselves with advice from... More

We came to see the progress of the Cube and were slightly disappointed to see that it still wasn't finished. So we popped into the old cellar door next door to the restaurant. It was chokkas. We didn't want to fight for elbow room at the bar so we poked about the awards cabinets before heading outside to the gardens.... More

Lovely hilltop location. Staff were friendly and tentative given how busy they were during the Easter break. Wish we could have stayed for dinner, but they wrre apparently booked out a week in advance.

We spent an afternoon tasting in McLaren Vale and really loved D'Arenberg. It does get very busy and instead of having one person pouring the tastings, it was whoever had free hands basically. However considering we went pretty much through the entire tasting list, it was a process that worked well. Beautiful place, really worth visiting.

My partner and I have been wanting to visit SA wineries for a few years now and on our main list was to visit D'Arenberg due to our curiosity to see the "vintage vision" the new landmark cube and what it was proposing for hands on wine tasting experiences. Unfortunately our timing due to our circumstances, didn't allow us to... More

Really enjoyed this venue and our host was amazing although I've forgotten her name but normally works in the office and helps at the cellar door on weekends. She spent so much time explaining each of the wines, the type of grapes used and the region. It truly helped with our appreciation of the wine and of course created a... More

D'Arenberg is one of the iconic labels but it not full of itself. Welcoming staff, a nice venue, and the Cube is nearing readiness. The Cube is either a brilliant attention getter in the manner of Melbourne's Federation Square, or a blight on the landscape, but either way it is a memorable sight. The wines are fine and worth the... More
