Fantastic downtown! The roads are laid out well and the traffic flows smoothly. The best part of town is close to the university, where the smaller unique shops and boutiques are located. I wish we would have had more time to look around!

Over 20 guys on an NHL trip weekend. Though we wore Red Wings attire, we never felt more than teased in a fun way. This is not true in all towns we visited. It goes to the heart of what we felt was a friendly, fun and vibrant city! We found that walking was the best way to get around.... More

There were lots of great restaurants and clubs near our hotel and the Greater Columbus Convention Center. We really enjoyed this city.

Be sure while in the city to stroll along the river and stop at the capitol building to see the architecture etc. Winter months are COLD but other times of the year are great. Head over to the area called German Village and check out the chocolate shop and Schmidts for a meal

Though not that big, downtown Columbus is a pleasant area to walk around. There are a good amount of restaurants and bars too. The nearby Scioto River nearby makes for good views.

Downtown Columbus has many great restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. Those that are not familiar with Columbus, OH would be shocked at all it has to offer. Especially for young couples and entrepreneurs. Great city!

Columbus has maximize the river by adding green space along the river and integrating it with the downtown element. Lots of tall office buildings but you also find a lot of small shops to stop in and eat. Make sure walk along the Scioto mile walking path as it gives you some great views of Columbus Downtown and connects you... More

Definitely a "university city" Pretty average downtown if i am being completely honest. The arena district is pretty cool I guess. Lots of cool bars and clubs.

Changed over the years. Now walking along the river, or sitting on the benches, can be quite relaxing. Pretty downtown, lots to see.
