Our entire family visited the museum in early December to see a Lego exhibit. The grandchildren loved the special exhibit. We were pleasantly surprised to find follow up hands on ctivities that all three generations enjoyed, creating Lego creations on our own. Afterwards , we found that they held an open art session for children which encouraged family participation to... More

Excellent art museum with a nice collection of art from modern to classic. Outstanding services and spacious. A great way to spend a weekend day in Columbus.

The CMA features wonderful art galleries across a variety of genres, but it's efforts to engage visitors with art-centered activities are particularly successful, in my experience.

We spend a few hours here during a recent visit to Columbus. There was a special exhibition on the sun which I didn't find that interesting and one on Thomas Cole that I did. The overall collection is solid, and the museum is a very manageable size, so it's not at all overwhelming. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant was... More

was always a good museum but now has become a great interactive current gallery with emphasis on creating interest in children of all ages.

This museum is beautiful and fun! I liked how every room had an interactive activity. The museum is well designed and it is easy to walk around and navigate. Also, great gift shop!

I thought the art was unique, but the range of art very small. Sun exhibit was a waste of money, black and white photos of the sun and eclipses, hum drum... Upstairs rooms were much better exhibits.

There were a lot of interactive things for them to do along with a lot of interesting art. Will be going back again to see the things we missed. The best part ofthe trip is... More

Was there on Sunday where it is free entry to the museum. Bought tickets to the special exhibitions for $6. The content in the permanent exhibitions was neither a lot nor exceptionally interesting. Special exhibitions were unfortunately a little underwhelming. But still, the museum has some well-paced and nicely arranged exhibitions, providing insights to arts and culture. If you have... More

So many things for kids and adults alike. Love the puzzles and the post it notes by the art. Great bistros.
