Very interactive and entertaining! Fabulous food!
Aug 2021
The show was held at the impressive downtown Hilton. Everyone is seated at tables

of ten and all the action happens around you. Someone at your table may even be

the murderer! The dialog is fun and only slightly suggestive. The actors were good

and the audience really got involved. The four course meal was wonderful!

A Little Disappointed
Jun 2018 • Friends
Was disappointed when we got to our seats and my sister and I were the only ones at the table to show up so it was a dead give away that the other person was the actor. I feel like they could have done a better job of mixing people up before we sat down since they would have known the other group was not there. This is a really expensive show and it would have been nice to have the experience that everyone else had. That being said the food was incredible and the actors were nice but I wouldn't go anywhere to pay $120+ just to enjoy a meal.

Fun Evening
Jan 2018 • Friends
There was a large group participating. Fun actors acted out the drama of a murder that happened in our dining room. I had some difficulty following what the clues were supposed to mean. But it was definitely a fun evening.

Murder Dinner Show
Oct 2016
It was exciting to watch. My family and I became so involved that we found ourselves taking little small notes and making small bets as to who committed the murder. I would recommend the show to everyone. If you want to have a great meal and play Sherlock Holmes this is the way to do it.

Very entertaining
Jan 2017
The actors were very entertaining and tried to engage all the guests, but at times, I could not see or hear what was going on. I was confused somewhat by trying to figure out all of the clues b/c of the manner they were given. Maybe that was all part of the plot, not sure. The food was fantastic and the servers were responsive to our needs. It was awkward trying to eat and listen to what was happening. More dine time would be nice. But we had a good time and met some great people.

Difficult to say anything positive
Jan 2017 • Couples
Every aspect of the Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner In Columbus, OH was disappointing. The "actors" had best not leave their day jobs; they had no timing, acting skills or stage presence. The "script" could have been written by a high school drama student who would have earned, at best, a grade of "C-" for the effort.

The quality of the dinner matched the quality of the acting. My entree consisted of a five-bite piece of tasteless chicken sitting atop a mushy rice concoction and three pieces of asparagus. Dessert was supposed to be something that tasted like peanut butter.

For what you get, the dinner/show is grossly overpriced. To rub salt onto this financial wound, at the end of the performance they ask the audience to leave a tip for the actors. Better that you give the money you would spend for this activity to a charity of your choice.

Fun Evening for Mystery Sleuths!
Dec 2016 • Friends
This takes place in a banquet room at the Sheraton, which gives you plenty of room to move around and interact with everyone. It begins at check-in, anticipate interrogating the other attendees. Plan to be talking to a lot of people and even the actors, its extremely interactive.

The mystery is laid out with fun clues, the actors are having a great time with you. There is plenty of time to talk amongst your table and share information.

The 3 course meal is adequate, (don't go for the food) there is wine, beer & cocktails for sale (cash only). The staff is great, very attentive.

Entertaining Evening
Dec 2016 • Couples
We met several new people and enjoyed our tablemates. The interaction with the actors was fun.
The venue was comfortable and easy to find. We suggest parking in the Columbus commons garage ($5)- you do not have to go outside-the Sheraton is connected.
The food was excellently prepared by the hotel chef and met my wife's food allergy concerns.
The interaction with new people made for an entertaining endeavor.
We had a blast and recommend this activity to everyone.
