This winery was a delightful find in Amish Country. The couple who own it, make their own traditional wine and cheese. They even have a special award winning wine, with their beauty of a Rottweiler on the label- a delicious wine, now one of my favorite wines. A must see stop on your next trip

My husband and I sampled about 12 different types of wine there. 5 for $1 or 25 cents each. We really liked the Back to the 40s and the Dog Gone Good wines. We even had the owner autograph our bottle of wine as her baby picture is on the bottle. Great spot to stop. Get the appetizers and dill... More

This wine is produced in plastic barrels with barrel chunks set in it for flavor. Wine is ok, but prefer breitenbach just up the road...

This is a charming little winery, they were very friendly. Great sangria and they have the recipe card printed out for you to take. Samples of cheese and crackers.

This winery also contains a cheese shop and gift shop. They have many fruit wines and samples are 25 cents a piece. Polka music playing in the background. A few tables to sit at. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

My husband wanted to taste some wine and we saw advertisements for Swiss heritage. After tasting a few wines, we selected 2 for purchase. Things went downhill from there. Total disorganization behind the counter, no one available to assist customers yet it seemed to take two employees to handle a single small transaction. No acknowledgement of those waiting by any... On our recent visit to Amish country in Ohio, we happened upon a small winery called the Swiss Heritage Winery in Dover, Ohio. What a pleasant surprise! You enter via a small unique gift shop and continue through the shop to find a cute little wine bar. Here they offered their wine tastings and some delicious complimentary cheeses, crackers, fruits... More

Red Raspberry, Dandelion, Watermelon are just a few of the wines on their shelves. You can taste them all (4 samples for a dollar). They also have a large assortment of cheeses. One section of the store is a room filled with jewelry and other items. The staff was very friendly and everything was reasonably priced. It's a short drive... More
