Super great place to research your genealogy. Staff are friendly, helpful and very informational. Be sure to go on a tour of the mansion and walk through the museum.

It was awesome to learn that Rutherford loved his wife and wrote her love letters all the time. Unfortunately she passed on in their bedroom but he was there for her.

The Hayes family did an awesome job of maintaining the home and it's contents... I loved the tour of the home and the guide did a great job!! I believe it has inspired me to tour presidential libraries and homes!!

Wonderful staff to help w/genealogy research for free! Due to cutbacks they are not open on Mondays. Occasionally there are beginning genealogy classes (for a minimal fee) to help one start learn about how to do searches. Donations are accepted.
