The gradual increse in size from talkaveri to krs dam is just a view worth rejoicing and the magnanimity of this river is just so cool...

Coorg River Rafting was my first rafting experience! Thanks to all my friends and the instructor I finally had the guts to embark on this thrilling adventure. Its a great place even if you are a beginner you will get ample briefing that will help you in successfully completing the activity. Amazing experience.

Family of three adults drove to TALACAUVERY and had a very satisfying experience. Did not go prepared for a dip in the sacred tank, very much regret missing the dip. The view point adjoining is well worth the substantial climb and is a must do too. Suggest following conventional dressing by women, three quarters etc. not allowed, though not rigidly... More

Beautiful location to visit (the source of Kaveri river - on the top of mountain). Very misty and it was raining heavily so overall it was very cool and nice weather on the top.

For those having lived on the banks of this great river, a trip to the source of Cauveri is almost like a pilgrimage. I have been here in in year 2000 and this time around I noticed that the entire place is so well maintained. Nice to see this change. The surroundings of the source spring is splendid, particularly on... More

The travel from Madikeri to Tala Kaveri is an interesting one. It is about 45 KMs away and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes with an experienced Driver at the wheels. Though the road is narrow, it is safe though one has to exercise caution at bends. The weather even during peak summer of May was fantastic. It was misty... More

A simple open space which is surprisingly clean. It's a origin place of Cauvery river who is a lifeline of Karnataka and also Tamilnadu. Journey from Madikeri to this place is refreshing. Last 8kms is pure jungle yet roads are very good almost throughout. The entry point is 8kms at Bhagmandala ( another beautiful temple village ). Entry closes around... More
