An enigmatically beautiful pool with wide, rocky sand banks located on a stream alongside the Umroi-Bhoilymbong Road is known as Dwarksuid or Devil's doorway. Its lotus-like rock formations are captivatingly scenic and unforgettable. Its Location: Ri Bhoi District, Umroi Bhoilymbong

This fall is on the way to the Dawki from Shillong. You can give a stop here and will love it. This will add to your falls list in the Shillong and will not take much of your time.

I use to love this place when I was growing up since it was not so commercial and the water flow was so natural albeit itbecome a bit messy now and water is also seasonal.

Dwarksuid, locally known as the Devil's Doorway, is a less-known yet beautiful tourist attraction in Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya. Formed by a gurgling stream of water, this pool is located alongside the road that connects Umroi to Bhoilymbong. It has a wide waterfront with a combination of rocky and sandy terrains. What serves as the highlight of this site... More

Dwar Ksuid is actually comes from two words in Khasi Language which means DWAR-"Door or Entrance",and KSUID-"devil or dark spirits".If you go near this fall you will see a gorge in both side just near the fall,at the water is dark.It really look scary when you knew the real meaning of this fall.
