The best part is here Pandas don’t loot you. Rush is generally high. Recommend to keep two separate lines for entry & exit while praying in front of lord.

To visit Lord Jagannath, Puri is good in any time of the year. Regarding hotel - please don't choose by the auto rickshaws/taxi/visit guide person. But choose a lodge in golden sea beach. Any way food is not attractive.
