We visited here - not expecting too much from a small country house. But we were amazed at how interesting the place was and how friendly the tour guides were - great place

We stopped here while on the Ring of Kerry, thinking it might be an enjoyable stop. After seeing that the fee to the house was more than we wanted to pay, we noticed there was a free path to get out to the beach, so...More

Stopped at Derrynane House and walked the grounds. The hillside to beach walk is spectacular. We didn’t have time to see the inside of the house. Too much to see in one day! The guides in the house were very understanding and nice!

Wonderful stop on the Ring Of Kerry. Stop here, stretch your legs and grab a cup of tea. Another amazing house with a lot of history.

Despite being English, we enjoyed our trip into Irish history and the O'Donnell family. Relatively few rooms are available to view, but the history is interesting but the gardens less so. We enjoyed an excellent tea and cake in the cafe.

Did not do the house tour as I had my dog with me but had a lovely walk through the gardens which are magnificent. Dogs are allowed on leads. Lovely fairy trail for children in the gardens. The coffee shop is worth a visit too...More
